The CDC hackle palmered on the body of this Elk Hair Caddis adds more floatation and movement than is found with the standard pattern. CDC is one of the "magic" feathers and the way it flutters makes any pattern appear more buggy and lifelike to the fish. Green in hook sizes 10, 12 & 14; Dark Olive in 14 & 18.
TIP: With any CDC dry fly, you need to use the correct floatant. Consider using either of the Shimazaki products, Loon Top Ride or Easy Dry. Don't use Aquel or Gink!
