The CDC Prince Nymph has it all going for it - a CDC soft hackle collar, peacock herl and biot wings and tails. All of these materials are known to be irresistible to trout, in all parts of the country, in all types of water and conditions. It can represent many aquatic insects (mayflies, caddis, small stoneflies, water boatmen, etc., etc.) but is especially good at representing emerging caddis pupa. Available in sizes 14, 16 & 18.
TIP: If you see caddis hatching, try fishing this pattern under an Elk Hair Caddis or a Peacock Madam X as a deep dropper in a dry-dropper rig.
