The golden stoneflies are similar in shape to their larger stonefly relatives (i.e. salmon flies) except that they are typically a couple of hook sizes smaller. The nymphs have a dark amber back and a lighter colored abdomen and underside. This pattern works especially well right before and during the period when the natural insects are hatching, usually from late May into early August. Available in size 10.
