We have been tying and fishing with all types of caddis nymph patterns over the years and this fly seems to be the best one yet. Anywhere there are caddis flies, this pattern will work well. It sports a holographic rib, a hot pink rear tag and a dubbed CDC feather collar behind a tungsten bead. All of these elements give this fly just the right amount of both flashiness and realism. Available in size 12, 14 and 16.
TIP: If you see caddis flies hatching but no fish rising, try this fly either under and indicator or, with the size 16, under a large Elk Hair Caddis in a dry-dropper rig.
