Developed by Randall Kaufmann in the early 1980's as an adult salmonfly/stonefly pattern, it is still one of the best "prospecting" attractor dry fly patterns ever designed. it work well The larger sizes work well as an adult stonefly or grasshopper and the smaller sizes can represent smaller hoppers or caddis. This version with rubber legs gives it just a little extra life. Available in 12, 14 & 16 hook sizes.
TIP: Don't be afraid to try a simulator even if you don't see any rises or bugs hatching. This pattern brings fish to the surface!
