In the late spring and early summer keep your eye out for adult damsel flies (they look like a small dragon fly with a iridescent blue body and silvery-white wings) cruising along the edges of ponds and lakes. If you see them, don't hesitate to try this pattern fished a foot or two under the water's surface.
