There are aquatic worms most rivers and lakes and fish love to eat them. With bright colors and flash, this variation of the San Juan worm is a great pattern. It works especially well during run-off or high water conditions when worms are being dislodged from the riverbanks. Tied on a size 10, off-set scud hook.
TIP: Fish as the tail fly in a two nymph set-up. Allow it to swing and flutter at the end of your drift.
