Our version of the WD-40, the UB-40 "Ultimate Beadhead" (and you thought it was an English reggae band) brings fish to the net from tailwaters to freestones. Though hard to see in the picture, it has a soft rubber shell-back with a bit of flash. This, along with a wood duck feather tail, gives this fly a very lifelike appearance. Works well as a trailing fly in a double nymph rig or in a dry-dropper setup. Available in size 16, 18 & 20.
TIP: Try it about 24" below a smaller Peacock Madam X in a dry-dropper rig.
